After a lot of experimenting on all the servers I have out in the field, there's definitely nothing that even touches reiserfs for good performance and robustness, except XFS, but from what I've read XFS is not as good when you encounter powerfailures, it seems to have been designed for the type of deployment where there's a UPS and backup-generator for the whole building...
