Why should i try "dig nb"?
Entry in my "/etc/bash.rc": [ "$PS1" = "\\s-\\v\\\$ " ] && PS1="[EMAIL 
PROTECTED] \W]\\$ "
Please stop to tell my how my machine and dns is configured :-(
Tell me what dependencies courier-mta have that are not shown while 
compiling....

DNS works perfectly and is not changed since months, courier has worked well 
before removing and installing many packages to get rid of "atrmps"-repo and i 
dont understand why not now because configure, make and make test works well

We play with "localhost" and "127.0.0.1" - not with any other names and 
adresses and this both will be resolved
