Sorry to barge into this thread, but I'm having issues as well with
4.3.0 on Mac OSX 10.5.1 (not on 10.4.11) using the latest courier-auth
0.60.2 with mysql authentication module.

I see the user accessing the IMAP server, verifying the password using
courier-auth which is approved and still the client says, wrong password.
