Hi, Ray...

The problem is that the "failing" message isn't being sent to
<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, but to <'[EMAIL PROTECTED]'>.

So the host that's being looked up is not "design-electric.com", but
"design-electric.com'".

If you do a nslookup on anything ending with ".com'", it will fail...

It's a user error.
