I have a Virtual Private Server (Virtuozzo with Plesk) functioning as a
webserver and mailserver. It runs FC3. I know it has Courier on it which I
believe provides the IMAP functionality.
My problem is that after the server ran of free disk allocation everything
ceased functioning. I've since remedied this but haven't managed to get the
IMAP function back up. Nothing shows up as obviously wrong via the Plesk
interface. Mail clients say there is no connection, as does telnet to port
143.
Although I have paid support, they are useless and slow so I'm trying to see
if I can fix it myself. Can anyone suggest how I go about diagnosing and
solving this situation? I've started with the Courier list as it provides
the IMAP server but if you think it might be something else then feel free
to point me in a different direction!
