I have one user who occasionally sends email broadcasts to their entire contact list. At the moment, there are 37 emails from this customer in my queue with a grand total of over 5000 recipients. The problem is that these emails are monopolizing Courier. I have a couple of emails in the queue that have been there for over 5 hours without a single delivery attempt. Is there a way I can prevent this from happening? Is there a way to temporarily put these messages "on hold" to let the rest of the queue be delivered?
The only thing that can be done is if most of the recipients are to a small set of domains, in which case you can use esmtproutes to forward these recipients to a backup MX.
