Just a little tangent here: The majority of the speakers on http://webstart.ini.hr was local, with only two fully from abroad (and a couple "semi-locals"). This is one aspect of diversity which we tried to enforce most (Chris here even got me in contact with people from Mozilla who promised to send someone over but never replied afterwards), and if you really want to help us build the diversity at future events I'm wide open towards any suggestions for qualified speakers. It's completely irrelevant if they're black, green, female, Betan herms, gay, tall, aliens or anything -- the only two conditions are that they are experts in any topic relevant to Web/software startups, and that they are willing to speak for free or a very small fee.
