Statistically, people search for office space (of any kind) in January more than in any other time of year, so the surge is normal. I was more interested if anyone has seen anything recession-specific.
Molly & Heidi - we haven't lost any telecommuters (yet), which leads me to think that that's the group we should be focusing for now rather than tiny start-ups. We're also sponsoring LaidOffCamp tomorrow, so we'll see how we do with those folks. Btw, they're going to have more of these camps in other major cities, so may be a good place to promote. Just FYI.
