Hello, hello! I'm Carina, and I work for Pto de Contato, a coworking space in São Paulo - Brazil, the first of the kind here!
I've been lurking around this group for a while now and never got to write a proper introduction, as things always got a bit hectic. But just reading what everyone says is valuable learning! Our space is still a baby, and the whole coworking concept hasn't really "caught on" around here yet. We openned in October 2008, and I've been on the team for a month now. We're still pretty small, with 16 desks to go around, a meeting room, lounge and kitchen area, but luckly the chairs aren't empty and we've been having enough clients and prospects coming in to check out the space. Maybe in the near future we'll be doing some changes to accomodate more people. Well, I guess that's it for now! And in case anyone is taking some time around these area, come check us out!
