What made it tough? 1. Mindset! Small town where everyone knows everything pretty much, and everyone has an office, and vehicle. Thus, Starbucks or the local coffee house are a great place to work and have meetings, because it's easy to drive to. 2. I am downtown. They all worry about parking! There is tons of parking in Fort Wayne, and gasp a parking ticket is only $5.00 (yes, it is five.) 3. Four Seasons and Winter Cabin Fever Mindset. No one comes out in the winter! I am actually growing a bit this summer, because of all the festivals in downtown. 4. I was not on Facebook at the beginning. FB is still used in Fort Wayne - we are behind the times - and a lot of young people, and even older individuals, hang out on it. 5. Manufacturing Mindset and Shovel Ready Projects. Enough said.
