I am currently working at a business incubator and I am in charge of starting a coworking space. I have done quite a bit of research, but there is still one hurdle that I am trying to overcome. How do I get my first 5-10 anchor tenants? You know, the members that are always there and are super excited about coworking. Here is a list of events/marketing that we are going to start, but I am looking for fresh ideas.
1. Coworking with the staff. (seems obvious, but hard to coordinate in a business incubator.) 2. Brown bag lunch on Fridays followed by coworking 3. Emails to our current list of recipients 4. Coworking after any other organized event. We have guest speakers and such, and we coordinate coworking to follow each event. We will probably give our anchor tenants free memberships in order to entice them to stay. Also, we cant do any alcohol at events. Otherwise this would be a lot easier. Your help is much appreciated!
