I also enjoy a fully staffed space but alas, I got pregnant and had to
make some changes! I gave every member a keycode so they can let
themselves in and out on their schedules not mine. I'm there about
half the time and not the other half. The members have really enjoyed
the flexibility of not having office hours. They never kept them when
they worked from home so why implement that now?! I have a very part
time staff person who can fill in gaps as well as member-hosts/
hostesses who volunteer to keep an eye out while they're there
working.
As for evening events, staff is on hand for the 1st visit and then any
recurring event organizers just let themselves in with a code and lock
up when they leave. It's been working surprisingly well and I'm not
having to drive back and forth to the space 3 times/day.

I'm especially looking forward to our new Cohere space as it has a
totally separate conference area that when accessed, does not give the
party access to any other portion of our building--including the
coworking space. A huge win!
