Listening of your community is crucial. Email and individual discussions are
great, but getting everyone together for a gathering has been for us, part of
our routine and we've seen much fruit from the meetings. Once a month we do a
pot luck lunch ( mostly a social) and then every 1/4 we do a town hall type
gathering. Generally around a lunch as well. This is we're we celebrate
company milestones and we share our latest cool projects. Then we hear about
new ideas and space issues. We usually ask the community to consider the
solution to the problems. I believe Alex from IndyHall has said before that
the most emancipating statement you can make upon hearing a problem or
complaint is to say, "what can you do?". Empowering your community and learning
to delicate will go a long way.
