Loving the post Alex- we've just redone our diner area (and increased the 
seating from 3 to 13 in the process- you can't see it all in the pic I've 
attached) and we've got a lovely grey back wall to do something with. 
 We're still thinking some kind of diagrammatic thing around all the kit 
(TV, hot water heater, coffee machines etc), but who knows- I'm going to 
have a good think in another direction about what to discuss with the 
members, they may love something a bit more dynamic
