Or, if not opt out, he at least wants to be able to use it and resolve bugs without ever having to go to the website...

In an email conversation with ILYAZ over the last few days in relation to the outstanding bugs listed for Term::ReadLine::Perl it came up that he actively dislikes rt.cpan.org and so will not use it.

While I find it odd that this is so and somewhat annoying that there are no publicly visible bug queues for his module, he does have a legitimate point in that these queues exist despite the fact he doesn't want them.

This means that long bug queues persist even when they have been fixed, and create a high level of confusion.

So I ask the group for ideas on how we might allow authors to opt-out of rt.cpan.org, and thus other systems that auto-link there, such as search.cpan.org, might then know to NOT link to rt.cpan.org.
