Is there really a need to replace the NNTP feed? As far as I am aware the only users who grab full articles are Andreas and myself, and we'll both be switching to the Metabase. Others, such Chris, who read it to get updates, appear to only really use the subject line type info, which can easily be included in the RSS/Atom Metabase feed. Everyone else that I'm aware of, just gets the articles via the web interface, which is nearly done. We're give people plenty of notice of the change, so if there are any apps that are affected, they can hopefully adapt to the Metabase in time for the switch.
