Hello everybody,

I have started to work on a major evolution of the way that graphic design is been integrated within CPS. For now, I call this CPSDesignerThemes, to emphasize the fact that it's designed to separate in the strongest way possible styling matters and CPS specifics, which is I believe what would make life easy for web designers.

There is a long motivation on my blog :
http://www.racinet.fr/index.php?post/2009/06/10/A-new-themes-engine-for-CPS
I tried to explain there how I came to those ideas, state a few expectations, and then show some HTML sample code.

The source code isn't available yet for free download, but I should fix that soon and publish a roadmap, so keep posted. For now, there's a working prototype. This will probably end up as an optional product (and profile) in the 3.4 branch and, I hope, the standard way of doing in the 3.5 releases. I'd like to emphasize the fact that the transition from CPSSkins shouldn't be a problem.

Don't hesitate to show yourself if you're interested, be it as a developer or as an end user !
