Hi, thanks for the interest.
The manual is based on the CPS from the subversion trunk. Much of the text I have is from notes I have made over the last 18 months, some of which are pretty bad and will be re-worked. I expect the finished manual to be reasonably accurate for CPS 3.3.5, although still useful for previous CPS versions. I can't give a date for publication, it depends how busy I am etc. I expect (hope) less then 4 weeks, but this may change. I haven't published the manual yet. I won't publish it until it is finished. You can find it in the workspace /espace_travail_partage/documentation_for_users/cps3_english_manual on the CPS-Project site. The link below is to the file, but you'll need to login. CPS3 English Manual About merging our work I agree. I have put a fair amount of time into the manual so far, and there is still a lot more that can be done. It would be good to develop a really good manual for CPS. However, the next time I start a manual like this I think I would like to design the manual structure first. If this becomes a community effort it will probably be essential. If more than one person is involved in the manual, we should develop and work from a design. The chapter layout and structure needs to be determined before adding the content. This will help ensure we don't duplicate each others work, and, more importantly, have a similar "look and feel" all the way through. I look forward to working with you to develop some better documentation for CPS. Anyway, I'll get this first version out of the way first. We can discuss a design for a future manual after this is published. -- Mr Steve Meaker Technical Manager [EMAIL PROTECTED] Manitacc Pty Ltd > On Fri, 2005-09-09 at 22:09 +1000, Steve Meaker wrote: >> Hi, >> First, it was my mistake with sending a response to your discussion last >> month.
