I'm affraid this "new" concept of education is not limited to the USA, but
mainly to the whole world, capitalistic system need workers and bureaucrats
exclusively skilled in their domain of activity but above all people
totally unaware of politics, economy, philosophy, environment, etc, but
able to appreciate cars, burgers and sodas...
