But in other respects this is a very impressive article.
A USA with proportional representation, would still be hegemonic in the
world, but the change would make a big difference to the pattern of world
politics.
Bringing it about needs much more than polemics, however. It needs to
combine vision with much tactical ingenuity.
Now, while the ruling establishment is destabilised, is an important time
to move. Please do not let the Republicans restabilise the system with
reforms acceptable to big business.
