This would just lead to degenerate min-maxing.  Save for Fire/Ice and
Earth/Air, most schools have synergy with others, and a good deal of spells
are actually designed to encourage training such schools.  Especially Fire
and Earth or Ice and Air.

The reduction in training opportunities for not directly opposing skills has
currently nearly zero effect, but if you altered apts, it would lead to
people artificially choosing just one of the schools.
