But how can the min-maxing come about? Since everything is multiplicative, 
it wouldn't matter if you train up the better school (regarding your 
aptitude) first or last.

So we could at least agree to turn the opposing schools mechanic into 
higher xp costs? That'd be a definitive nerf with clear gains, I think.
