Hi there, Just wanted to let you know, that since yesterday new builds of the master branch playable on CDO will allow you (the developers) to enter Wizard Mode. To be precise: Everybody with access level "developer" & above in Mantis have their games started with the "-wizard" parameter, which Jude implemented recently - provided that the Mantis account and the DGL account on CDO have exactly the same spelling. For some of you this is either not the case or you don't have a DGL account on CDO yet. Namely:
- caotto - enne - Matthew Cline (DGL doesn't allow spaces in account names) - Mu Mail me your account name and I will set the flag, that allows to enter Wizard Mode, manually. Additionally, I have enabled access to the tutorials on CDO. This functionality disappeared when the CTRL+T shortcut from the race/class selection screen was removed. It's a separate selection (TT) in the DGL menu, but it shares save-games with the normal game. By the way, how about enabling access to the hinted game-mode, too, when starting crawl with the "-tutorial" parameter? Currently those are not available on CDO. Most of you have probably read on the Wordpress that the dedicated forum for Stone Soup was recently moved to CDO [1] because there were some issues with the one on freeforums.org [2]. It's called "the Tavern" now. Danr continues doing the administration of forum and the moderation of posts (with help from others), while I am doing code maintenance. Interesting facts: Hits on the website have trippled to 1.5 million per month! A few months back I managed to automate the building process for builds running on CDO & MinGW32. This is the current schedule for builds: - CDO: every Monday and Saturday at 6:50 (UTC+1) - MinGW32: every Monday, Thursday, Saturday at 6:20 (UTC+1) (Console ZIP, Tiles ZIP & Installer, which contains both versions) Also, I've recently setup RSS feeds [3] for all those builds (and the MacOSX builds uploaded), in case you like to be informed automatically.
