See, I have a couple
problems with this...not to mention the incorrect spelling of "wheezes" and
"measly", but that's besides the point.
How much power do you
expect to get from a Moroso oil pan? And more importantly, how do you intend to
blind anyone looking down into your engine bay, with an oil pan that's on the
bottom of the car, facing the ground? Or maybe you're going to convert this
gleaming Moroso oil pan into a valve cover?
I don't think you'll get
very far if people who look into your engine bay see your "immaculately clean
aluminum heads" either. First, how many heads are you planning on having in your
car? Maybe some nice chromed mannequin melons in there, welded to your converted
gleaming Moroso oil pan, then spit shined to an immaculate finish? Generally
speaking, your valve cover (or, in your case, your converted shiny oil pan)
covers up the interior part of the head, which would be the shiny aluminum
part.
Here's my advice: take a
cue from your friend. Get some rims, tint and a system, and be happy with your
car.
And if any of us see you
on the street, we'll be running before you know what's going on...there's not
that many people driving around with converted oil pans...

Actually I am 22.
Yes I now it's the measily little 1st gen motor, that only
weases a measily 118 hp stock. If you know anything Now that it
has been souped up, the Power to weight ratio is what will make this crx
fast.
And no I don't think I am great. I don't think I am better than
anyone. I don't think my car is the best car out there, but I can
appreciate other peoples cars at whatever level they are at. My friend
put rims, tints and a system and his car looks good and he is happy
with that. I know my car is not going to be the fastest rex out
there, but If you come to the car show you will literally be able to
eat off my car, because there will be no area on that car neglected. I
will pay someone cash if they can find a spec of rust on it.
It will be turning heads as this will be a sleeper car. You
wouldn't think that this 1st gen will be able to hold it's own, but one day
you will see. When you look into my engine bay the gleam off of the
immaculately clean aluminum heads, the shine from the aem pulleys, the
gleam off of the Moroso oil pan will blind you and the fact that when
you look in it will seem like there is so much empty space and how easy
it would be for a mechanic to work on the car. The only
thing I think you should get out of all this is how hard I worked on
the car and the detail that has been done to it.
You know if I wanted the fastest car then I would be building a full
on jet dragster. But that is not the case.

Wow, you're a moron. No one ever put you down. Carl made
a suggestion. And you keep on being a moron, even after it is explained
that you came to a list where people throw out ideas. Seriously, what
are you, 16? Can't take constructive criticism? Why don't you just post a
message saying I RU735 J00!!!!! Or some other stupid little script kiddie
thing to say. Get over it. I'm sure that your 1st gen will be nice.
It sounds like a good setup you are putting together. Other than a quick
"hey that's a cool 1st gen", no one gives a damn what drag strips you hang
out at, or how great you think you are. Bottom line is, you have an
old Honda, just like the rest of us. IF you want to brag, come back when
you have something better, like an S2000, an NSX, or some other truly
great car. In the meantime, get the hell off the list if you are going to
act like a child. You're just wasting our time.

information, I was not looking for admirers or looking to impress
anyone. I just wanted to share my project for people to ask
questions. For Carl to suggest I go with fuel injection setup...how
will that help me? Is that going to save me money?
Fortunetly my life will go on without you and
Carl. Your friend Carl, the hater,
started with me by saying use the fuel injection setup and then I will be
impressed. Come on now, that was clearly a stab at me.
Excuse me, Carl, if your not impressed. What projects
do you have? Or are you just one of these people on the internet who
swears they have CRX with a ZC motor in it,doing tens too, with every
aftermarket part. Do you even own a honda? QUOTE OF

LOVED PEOPLE WILL SEE YOUR WEAK SIDE AND TAKE ADVANTAGE"

is no need to shout at Carl. He's been around this board forever
and knows what he's talking about. If he dispenses some advice, it
would behoove you to at least be polite about it if you don't take it.
People who yell at others in huge all caps are not appreciated on this
list. They certainly don't gain any admirers no matter what they did to
their car.
