Joey, that is a really difficult question to answer [how much $$ is a
rebuild], because it all depends to what extent the rebuild is done, and who
does the work, and any extras you might want to get done. There are local
machine shopped around the cleveland area who offer a complete rebuild for
$1400, and include a 100,000mile warranty on the motor, but I've heard that
it's difficult to get them to honour that warranty..on the other hand, you
could probably do much of the assembly yourself, and do a complete rebuild
for under $1,000.... it's like asking how big a fish can be....there are
sooo many answeres. I have included the list in this reply because someone
here might be able to offer better advice/a more accurate breakdown of
prices/the work involved. [I will argue that buying a ZC id cheaper than a
all out rebuild, but it's not practical if you want to stay in a certain
race class, but otherwise, it might be very practical]
