I've been having a VERY hard time getting my rex to start lately, it's taken 5-10seconds of cranking to get it to light up from cold, and 3-5 from warm. SO I finally bit the bullet and got a new fuel pump from AutoZOne for $90, and threw it in. For the rest of you who are having trouble starting your cars,go through the diagnostics for the pump, and if it's what's bad, replace it, it's not very difficult to drop the tank and get to it, and you'll be amazed at the difference. My car now starts from cold in a single crank, and you just have to touch the starter when it's warm for it to fire.
