Dunno. But I do know that my car would barely start with the original
pump (14 years old) and it runs great with the new one. And if it
doesn't hold up 13 years, big deal, lifetime warranty. It had to go no
matter what, and I could buy 3 pumps with lifetime warranties for the
price of one Honda one.

Hey,

No offense, but the stock Honda fuel pump in my DX-hybrid is still
ticking after 13 years (great fuel pressure thanks to the custom
regulator & fuel rail). You think the Autozone replacement will hold up
that well over time?

I've been having a VERY hard time getting my rex to start lately, it's
taken 5-10seconds of cranking to get it to light up from cold, and 3-5
from warm. SO I finally bit the bullet and got a new fuel pump from
AutoZOne for $90, and threw it in. For the rest of you who are having
trouble starting your cars,go through the diagnostics for the pump, and
if it's what's bad, replace it, it's not very difficult to drop the tank
and get to it, and you'll be amazed at the difference. My car now starts
from cold in a single crank, and you just have to touch the starter when
it's warm for it to fire.
