Maybe somebody here has an idea. And please, spare me the flames, this was a rare jaunt and happens very, very rarely...
Okay, so I've got my lovely JDM B16A motor in my car. From all appearances, it would seem to be from an 88-92ish Integra XSi, due to the ECU code (PW0?) and the lack of a limited slip. Okay, so to my best understanding, all JDM motors have a factory built-in speed limiter of 108 mph via the ecu. Well, to my best knowledge, the ecu and all the parts on my motor are pretty well stock, so I'm confused, unless my speedo is way off or something...but I find it hard to believe that with my speedo pegged @ 125mph that I would in fact only be going less than 108mph. So, what gives? Oh, and there's a nice little second-gen turbo RX-7 around here that now knows my cute little DOHC Vtec badge is for real ;) Fred
