Ok, so 112mph it is. I still find it hard to believe that my speedo would be
off by that much though. Especially since it was pegged and still
accelerating...maybe I'll have to find a nice safe open track/roadway and
have a friend track it with me...

Factory JDM ECU's are speed-limited to 112mph (roughly 180kmh).

Mine used to shut down my car at an indicated 117 on the speedo.
