Well guys i been waiting for my cylinder head gasket kit to get here from Manhonda. I have a few questions before i begin prepping the head for reassembly. I know theres supposed to be an O-ring that needs to be replaced on the block surface and its next to the oil control ball??? the name of it escapes me right now. It's a metal ball i suppose that is supposed to disperse the oil. At any rate that metal ball thing isnt where i though it would be. In fact in the hole just to the right of where its supposed to be i think i see something in there. Theres something in one of the head bolt holes and im not quite sure what i should do. I tried getting it out with a little magnet type apparatus but i dont think the magnet was strong enough. What i need to know is the following. Should there be a little ball in the hole at the top edge in the middle of the block or am i just being paranoid for no apparent reason. Is it possible for the oil control ball to be stuck to the underside of the head? Because if thats the case then its probably long gone. Im freaking out over here. I need some advice.
