I agree with Caleb.  If it helps, here is a picture of my old block that I
just got back from the machine shop.  It's going in her '90 hatch
tomorrow.

You're looking at the intake side.  The circled part is the oil control
jet.  Besides the coolant veins and the oil returns, everything else is
for head bolts.

Before you put the head back on, make sure you clean both surfaces off
really well with brake cleaner and wipe them down with a clean, lint-free
rag or paper towel.  Then make sure piston 1 is at TDC (like in the pic),
and lightly oil the sleaves.  They don't have to be dripping with oil, but
it's not good if they're bone dry.  If you do put piston 1 at TDC, make
sure your cam is on the compression cycle for piston 1 otherwise you'll
bury your valves into the piston when you torque the head down.
