Not to bust chops or anything, but this kit has been
in the works for over two years.  I thought it looked
like a neon front end when it was first released.  In
2000 when I still had my rex I was looking for a kit
that was agressive but still look clean.  I called
GD2000 and they told me that they had one in the
works.  its taken them the better part of 2 years to
get it out, but I think it looks nice.  Very clean
lines and it has an agressive look.  But I do agree
Robert...the front would look better with a plain wire
mesh.

As I had mentioned, the part that I really liked was how they did the rear.  The front is not bad except for the grill, IMHO.  It's not "busy" like a lot of other kits I've seen, yet there's enough there to draw your attention.  The great thing about most (if not all) kits these days is that you can modify them to suit your desire.

Getting back to the front grill.. another thing that I don't particularly like, at least with the CRX, are LARGE front bumper/spoilers.  They just look way out of proportion.  Same with some of the earlier Civic's.  Again, that's a personal opinion.

Same with hood scoops.  I feel that they should only be present if they are serving an actual function other than just for looks.  When I got my Carbon Fiber hood, a teen saw it and asked when I was going to "scoop" it.  I asked why he felt that it needed a scoop to be grafted in.  "So that the engine would breathe better and cooler", replied said teen.  I will go as far as to say that this is a valid statement.  But not in the case of my car.  :^)

Anyway... I liked a lot of things that were done and I also didn't like a lot of things.  I didn't like how they did the doors.  But I guess if they had actually made a real door cap, the car would have looked very bloated (sort of like a bull frog or something).

A few people have commented that it looked like a Ford Mustang.  After looking at it again, I can see it.  But only from the doors to the rear.  The front still reminds me of a cross between a Toyota Celica GT and either a Dodge or a Cadillac STS.  More so like a Dodge due to the grill pattern.  I think they could have gone with a bit more subtle front bumper cover/spoiler.

Getting back to the rear, the pictures don't really get in close enough for me to see how they did the rear hatch.  I'm going to call them later today to see if it would be possible to see that CRX in person or at least see the kit in it's raw form.

Like I said, there are things I like and dislike about this kit.  And the parts that I dislike can be redone and if I were to get this kit (not saying that I am), I would more than likely modify the things that I did not like to suit my personal taste.
