Has anyone ever had a problem with Customs and importing a JDM engine? I know for a
fact that some kid brought in a JDM engine (b16a? i think) and customs had to destroy
it since it could not be proved that it met epa standards. Even honda america could
not verify the engine. Something like the engine number was out of a certain range,
so it was not legal to use the motor in the US. He paid ~$1200 for the engine plus
hundreds in shipping/storage/etc charges.

If it comes to replacing the engine, at least get a ZC. they are the same
price as the stocker, but with more omph. I got mine from gomotors.com for
like $600 to my door I believe. Ran like a champ.
