Actually, not all states have budget problems.  There are some states that have legislation that requires a balanced budget for each fiscal year.
just a little FYI

Not to stir up any further topics that do not include CRX's, it wasn't that long ago (last week) where there was a $700 million dollar deficit faced by Governor Bob Taft:

I also heard that he proposed his two year budget plan to address this by basically increasing tax and not, as with everything else, cut spending and other programs.  I believe one program that was cut had to do with a Mental Retardation Center.

So don't tell me that no State has a budget problem.  EVERY State does... it's just a matter of which gets the most media coverage.  I only happen to chance on Ohio because it was a small blurb on the late night CNN news last week.  Otherwise, I'm glad that Governor Taft did propose (and it was accepted, I think) a budget to address this and I know the programs he had to cut was not an easy one but that's politics.

Like I said, I don't want this to turn into a debate... at least not on this list.  If you want to debate it further, please do so off the list...

CRX content --- I got my renewal notice from the DMV today.  I was expecting it to tell me that I had to take it down to have it smog checked or tested (for those that don't know, there's a difference when asked to do a test or check).  But it just said I had to pay to fee, which in my case is $40 (USD) plus $4.00 if I do it on the web (which I did...).  :^)
