My understanding is that one company cannot refer to another company's products in the sense of a fair comparison of capabilities of product. Comparisons would be defensible with "facts" argument in anglo world, whereas in the Germanic region facts are not enough. And that there is some similar difference in private defamation, one cannot just go and claim facts as in the anglo world.

However, I've never really looked, so I could be totally wrong or confused, and I have no idea what (say) Luxembourg is like.
