Hi all, The blender2crystal website has a note for windows users, that one can install python-xml instead of python-4suite, which could cause trouble in particular version combinations.
Now I've trouble updating my debian (sid) because of a wrong dependency with python-4suite. It seems like it depends on python-xml, but requires some outdated or non-existing version, but I might be wrong here. blender2crystal(-cvs) depends on python-4suite, but it looks like the whole python stoff in debian is broken, but I'm unshure about that. Here's the console log: [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ LC_ALL=C sudo apt-get -f install Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree... Done Correcting dependencies... Done The following extra packages will be installed: python-xml The following packages will be REMOVED: blender2crystal-cvs python2.3-4suite python2.3-xml python2.4-4suite python2.4-xml The following NEW packages will be installed: python-xml 0 upgraded, 1 newly installed, 5 to remove and 80 not upgraded. 3 not fully installed or removed. Need to get 780kB of archives. After unpacking 16.3MB disk space will be freed. Do you want to continue [Y/n]? n Abort. I got my blender2crystal from that source line: deb http://b2cs.delcorp.org/debian unstable main It does not matter whether I use blender2crystal or blender2crystal-cvs. As this breaks all my apt-get installations, is there a solution available?
