Had to urpmi some dependencies, he figured it out. Yay Oktal.

I can run glxgears at 3980 FPS.
When I type ./simple1 though I get the following:
WARNING: could not load plugin 'crystalspace.graphics2d.glx'
Error loading Graphics2D plugin.
WARNING: failed to initialize plugin 'crystalspace.graphics3d.opengl'
No 3D driver!
CrystalSpace.Simple1: Failed to locate 3D renderer!

Extra info:
I have a Geforce 6600 Nvidia card.
when I type"glxinfo | grep render" I get:
direct rendering: Yes
OpenGL renderer string: GeForce 6600/AGP/SSE2
GL_NVX_conditional_render, GL_SGIS_generate_mipmap, GL_SGIS_texture_lod,
I did the live install off the CD and it comes with dkms-Nvidia which isn't
very good because it assigns a driver that doesn't fit my card.
I urpmi kernel-source
so I could "sh thenvidiadriver.run -f"
when I restarted, it said my Xwindows was hosed,
so I ctrl+alt+f1 to root, and then "sh thenvidiadriver"
after a reboot, Xwindows was running fine.
I got this help from benja22 in #mandriva
I somehow think that maybe my graphics driver is ok for somethings, but bad for
others because I didn't uninstall dkms-Nvidia before installing the new
drivers... Just a thought.
