Having 4 srvers with all gamemodes. Maxplayers value not changed. Arms Race crashed very often, other servers crashes too (but rare)

Is anyone experiencing said instability on anything other than Debian squeeze 64?

The distro we use is Debian squeeze 64-bit. Our other sourcebased servers run stable.

We notice several crashes. Sometimes with the already named "alarm clock" message, sometimes srcds just exits without any reason or message, it just returns to the OS console in the middle of it's game, and sometimes it throws a segmentation fault.

We notice the most crashes on our arms race server, which is configured for 10 players. Next in line is classic competative with 10 players, then the 2 classic casuals, both the 10 and 32 player server crash equally much, and as last is the demolition server, however, I think that it's because it's the least used.

A problem here is that the console doesn't print any useful information, and setting the -debug flag doesn't produce any debug core dump files.

My question here is, how can we produce some useful information? I wouldn't mind running a server with gdb on, if that would be of use to you. If so, please specify with what flags you want gdb running.

Cheers,

Saint K.

Any pattern of OS and/or distro?

There's not much to tell when you see the server is down and then look
at server console on screen session and it just says "alarm clock" at
the last line and nothing else.

As far as i can see, the moment i increased slots from 12 to 24 (server
keeps telling me it has 30 despite what i set on gamemode textfile) but
anyway, crashes increased 800% after that.

 More info would be appreciated.

Details are always useful. They help us distinguish between known and unknown issues.

 @VALVe

Any wishes in regard to the message below?

Are you able to reproduce the bugs, or should we get working on gathering more info?

Any plan of attack for the crashing CSGO servers on Linux?

How do we go on about this?

Setting the -debug flag doesn't seem to create a coredump.

What would be the preferred way on providing information about the massive amount of crashes we experience?

 Cheers,

 Saint K.
