It?s definitely a good thing ? but it is worth knowing whether they will leave all of this in place before spending too much time fiddling with the settings only to have such work be fruitless in the end.
But yah ? I?ve gone through these and like, having a taser only game, for instance, would be a no brainer. Likewise, having a ?no tracers? server or eliminating tracers being every round, and instead every so many rounds, might make some players happier with the game. There?s a zillion ways these files are extremely wonderful to have. Thus, the question of whether they?ll stay ? I think it?s obviously yes, but it?s best to assume nothing in the Beta phase, istm. There are many reasons this could be a good thing to have. You can change settings to reflect previous games, you can setup custom weapons for specialized servers. Like Tasers and knives. You can set so that the Ts can buy CT weapons and so forth all without mods. The reason being that spending time to make some customer server configs (No Awp via setting price to $17000 for instance) makes these files particularly nice to have with their many options - but if they go away, it makes the work some would otherwise do a waste of time. _______________________________________________ Csgo_servers mailing list Csgo_servers at list.valvesoftware.com https://list.valvesoftware.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/csgo_servers -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- _______________________________________________ Csgo_servers mailing list Csgo_servers at list.valvesoftware.com https://list.valvesoftware.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/csgo_servers -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
