He meant you're new to Valve's lists. Rants are branded poorly and trolling is 
very minimal in comparison to SPUF. I find the mailing lists to be quite 
helpful and nice 99% of the time.

    The current gamemodes.txt is like kick in the face comparing to the old 
way. Server.cfg and map based configs in maps/cfg/mapname.cfg are much much 
better solution and backwards compatible.
