Are you new to running source servers? This is not going away. And like someone mentioned earlier, it's great that we have this mailing list so we at least get a heads up.
And the updates are not "killing community servers", it is making the playing experience better. I updated ours 30 minutes after the update went life and they were full within 15 minutes.
