Evening,

Is this still ongoing as I'm experiencing issues booting any of the CSGO servers we operate with workshop.

Best Regards

This would be a great workaround to stop automatic workshop map updating but the major issue with it is that CS:GO clients connecting to the server will not download maps from the workshop and instead simply say map missing.

As some have said already, get rid of the +workshop startline
    commands, add
the workshop maps manually into your mapgroups like you're used to
    doing
    (Ex. "+mapgroup mg_bomb +map workshop\125620805\de_mill" and
    "workshop\125620805\de_mill" { } in gamemodes_server.txt).

You could create another shortcut to run the +host_workshop_collection
command in order to update the maps periodically, and close it
    immediately
after it finishes doing so, though I'm not even bothering with
    this as I
hope Valve will have a fix for this issue soon enough.

It's a temporary workaround, but I've got my server up and running
    with
workshop maps by doing the above for the time being.
