I hardly see how you can blame an indepent modding community for using resources supplied BY VALVE to create modifications that otherwise would not be possible (without Valve's original support for modding to begin with). AM shouldn't be responsible in any way for Valve's inability to communicate what we need to do.
This last minute notification (after the bans) informing us that custom weapon models and skins aren't allowed either could be considered nothing but poor taste on Valve's end.
