Dawn,

I haven't seen any replies to your post, but neither do I see anything 
wrong with the print outs of your site.  Did you fix the problem?  If 
so, would you share with the list?

I would strongly suggest that you create a print style sheet that 
removes the second column entirely.  Layouts are best converted into 
single columns when you print, and besides, you don't need any of the 
stuff in that column on a piece of paper -- all it is is links to old 
posts and Google ads.  Just make that div display: none in your print 
sheet and adjust the margins/width of the remaining column accordingly.
