        I like to keep the layout relative to the text. If I'm looking this on 
a large-value ppi monitor then I usually bump the text size one or two 
settings up. With this, the layout also expands and keeps the overall look.

        This about the font sizes is good point, for default setup. Although I 
think that modern fonts scale well for any size, it's worth investigating.

        Percentage-based design does not translate directly into the effect I 
want, thus I never made a single design that actually used it.
