True then, and true now. I have made no changes at all to CSSC in the past several years. This is partly because the flow of bug reports is so slow, and the email doesn't go directly to my inbox (quite a lot of the CSSC-related email is noise from the mailing list system; spam mails to the list for example that the list server blocks but sends me email about). A more significant reason though is that I no longer use SCCS (in the sense of the file format) myself, and haven't for well over 15 years. Because I have little time to spend on it, maintenance of CSSC at this point is mainly around ensuring that it can still be built from source with modern tools. CSSC needs a new maintainer. If anybody would like to volunteer to maintain CSSC on behalf of the GNU project, please let me know by email. Thanks, James.
