All answers that have come through so far seem to be that most juniors are given minimal work to do with no real responsibility. In my case, it seems that I have been put in a position where a lot of my responsibility lies in the research and design of our technology plateform. I guess it's because we have just started a new project, and are basically still in this phase of the development lifecycle. I haven't even been doing much coding since I started.

not implement in the company I worked it came around later, I did lots
and lots of development in Delphi, And we wrote a new system where we
used Relational DB's so we did some crazy store procs (do ppl even still
use store procs nowadays) and some crazy db design.
