Hello

We currently have EJB2 EJB's deployed to our production JBoss 4.0.3 SP1
application server. We would like to have any new development done
using JBoss with EJB3.

This entails upgrading our current version of JBoss to a newer version.
I've found JBoss 4.0.4 GA available for download on the JBoss web site.
I've also found release notes (but no download) for JBoss 5.0.0 GA
(http://jira.jboss.com/jira/secure/ReleaseNote.jspa?projectId=10030&styleName=Html&version=12310062)

Since upgrading an AS is always a risk I would prefer doing it as few
times as possible, so I would prefer upgrading directly to 5.0.0
(assuming it is available for download).

The questions are:

1. Which version of JBoss is safe to use in production?
2. Is JBoss's EJB3 implementation EJB3-Certified?
3. If 5.0.0 is not yet availble, it it best to just stay put until it
is, and does anybody know when it will be available?

Any elaboration on the questions asked or answers given will also be
appreciated - I'm trying to gather as much information as possible to
make the decision. I'll ask the question on the JBoss forum if you guys
can't give me any enough input, but I thought I'd try here first - the
JBoss guys seem scary ;)

Cheers
Paul
