Simple answer.
The good ones are expensive.
The cheap/free ones are useless for real-world applications.
Yes, I've built them using the Instantiations Jove product, and something
else that I currently forget.
On the other hand, the code obfuscators (like KlassMaster) are quite a lot
cheaper, and there are some reasonably good free ones (like ProGuard).
