really a problem -- in other words, does it seriously impact our ability to
provide quality library service to others? On college campuses, people
sleep all over the place-- sometimes because they partied too much the day
before but sometimes just because they have a really brutal schedule and they
are exhausted. Of course, libraries vary tremendously in space
available--- maybe lots of lively programs with sing-alongs near the comfortable
chairs would do the trick. Am I missing something here?
I remember being a young mother --okay, okay, I
KNOW that was a long time ago -- and looking for a place to nurse when the
sleeping baby decided to wake up off schedule and the only spot in the library
out of public view was the restroom floor. (No chairs in
there.)
